Fortius was founded under the visionary leadership of Mr Ramasamy Chockalingam (Chock), FCA(UK), FCA(UAE), FCA (Singapore), and MBA; he is our chairman and a practising Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Many global enterprises look up to him for his expert guidance as they embark on their business journeys. Through two decades of experience and intuitive thinking, Chock helps organisations navigate the uncertainties of the business world.
Over the course of his career, Chock has worn many hats. He has been in the Big 4 and a member of MGI Worldwide, a practicing auditor in Singapore for 6 years and a CFO/FD in large multinational companies like Telstra, across Asia and the Middle East for about 15 years. He brings a wealth of experience to Fortius and works with great passion.
Having functioned in several roles and capacities over the past 20+ years, Chock is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Fellow member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. He is also a member of the UAE Accountants and Auditors Association. He has completed his MBA from the University of Missouri, USA.
He has an amazing ability for creating strategic survival solutions for businesses to thrive in turbulent economies and remain compliant even under complex regulations.
As a shrewd CFO, he is laser-focused on next-gen solutions to help companies discover new growth possibilities and target markets for consistent expansion.
Arinjay Kumar Jain, a distinguished Chartered Accountant, brings over 22 years of post-qualification expertise in International Tax, M&A Tax, Income Tax, UAE ESR, and UAE Corporate Tax. With deep insights into business dynamics, he excelled as a Director at KPMG India, managing clients from diverse nations such as the US, Germany, Singapore, Netherlands, UAE, and UK. His strategic role encompassed facilitating Indian operations setup and overseeing acquisitions for various enterprises.
Arinjay's journey includes roles as a Consultant Director at a Top 10 UAE Accounting Firm from 2019-2022, where he established their ESR practice. He has advised numerous MNCs, particularly in sectors like Solar Power, IT & ITES, Manufacturing, and E-commerce. His leadership was instrumental as a Director with KPMG India, where he facilitated Indian operations and business acquisitions for global clients and Indian MNC group acquisition overseas.
Arinjay's impact transcends advisory roles. He is a revered educator, regularly training professionals in International Tax and UAE Corporate Tax. He has trained 2500+ CA’s in International Tax at Biggest Global Consulting Firms. He has conducted live and recorded UAE Corporate Tax classes for 250+ enrolled students working across some of the largest business house in UAE as well as professionals who have set up their own
practice.
Arinjay is not only an expert practitioner but also an author. He has penned several books on International Tax and Income Tax, showcasing his commitment to advancing tax knowledge.
As a regular visiting Faculty with ICAI on International Tax and UAE Corporate Tax since 2009, Arinjay holds a profound understanding of corporate dynamics. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to contribute as a Director in M&A and International Tax at KPMG India until 2014.
